Hi Everyone!

Today, Steffi has another classic cartoon character for you guys, Shaggy! With this step by step guide you can create another iconic member of Mystery Inc.

To start the nail off two coats of the beautiful Sugar Cookie are used to create Shaggy's skin tone. Before starting the design, Steffi adds a thin layer of Matte Top Coat to make the base easier for painting.

The eyes are added in with Snow White using a detail brush. Serious Black is used to map out the shape of Shaggy's face and features. Steffi also adds Shaggy's neck and T-shirt to the tip of the nail.

Once cured Steffi begins to fill in the design, using a combination of Tuscan Sun, Sherbet Lemon and Old Soul for the hair, Tangy Lime for the T-Shirt, Cover Story for the tongue and a mix of Old Soul and Base Coat for the shading.

Once the colours are fully cured, Steffi uses Apple of your Eye for the background and finally goes over any outlining in Serious Black. A generous coat of top coat is added to seal in the design and bring all the colours together.
