Hi Everyone!

Today we have some character art for you guys. This is a step-by-step guide on how to paint the most famous Pokémon of them all Pikachu.

This nail is started off by adding a drop of Snow White to Sherbet Lemon to help ensure the opacity of the yellow gel polish. Steffi then maps out the general shape of Pikachu's head and body.

Next Steffi uses Star fruit to add shadows to the body, followed by Serious Black to mark out his tiny nose and eyes. These colours are painted on using an ultra fine detail brush and a dotting tool, then cured.

Pikachu's cheeks are painted on with Saffron and his mouth is a mixture of Coral Bay and Serious Black.

The last things to finish this design is to outline the character with Serious Black and to use the stunning Royal Sparkle from our Diamond Dust Collection for the background.
